A ultimate pastime in winter and in summer!
Hollersbach & the Kitzbühel Alps
The romantic little village in the upper Salzachtal Valley is the southernmost access point to the wonderful Kitzbühel Alps skiing region. The Panorama Lift, which lives up to its name offering views of the entire range of the magnificent Alpine world on the way to the top, is the starting point for your excursions. In 12 minutes, the Panorama Lift will take you to 1,892 metres altitude, where 160 km of skiing fun of all levels of difficulty await you.
Without unstrapping your skis, you’ll get from the Panorama Lift Kitzbühel Alps to the worldfamous Kitzbühel Streif in around 3 hours.
Hollersbach – dreamy village with special flair
Fans of Nordic sports can enjoy the well-prepared 130 km Pinzgau cross-country ski trail traversing the Salzachtal Valley. At the intermediate station of the Panorama Lift, you’ll find the floodlit Hochmoor cross-country ski trail, offering splendid views of the Hohen Tauern (Großglockner, Großvenediger, etc.), providing cross-country foxes with sheer sporting fun.
In summer until late autumn, hikers get their money’s worth. Valley hiking trails, hikes and mountain tours all the way up to the Hohen Tauern have their starting point in our idyllic village of Hollersbach. Or take the Panorama Lift to the intermediate station, the newly formed Wasenmoos moorland, where moor was harvested at the beginning of the nineteenth century, is located right of the parking lot.
The impounding reservoir is 180,000 m3 large – right beneath the peak of the Resterhöhe, reachable with the Panorama Lift, impresses and surprises visitors.
